The answer: The contemporary brand mark is based on the outline of an aicraft carrier with the dot of the 'i' taking the shape of an aircraft taking off. Simple design guidelines were created to ensure consistent application of the identity across items such as signage and stationery.
The marketing brochure was designed to address the needs of the partner businesses and their suppliers, the media and opinion formers, and the MoD and government. It included the background to the alliance and current information about the project, as well as the latest CAD images of the aircraft carriers.
