Sands
Established in 1978, Sands is the UK’s leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity, supporting bereaved parents and promoting research to save babies’ lives.
The brief: Sands had been aware for some time that their branding, website and printed literature had become somewhat dated. As part of an overall communications strategy review, the charity wanted to raise awareness of Sands and its services and improve the impact of all its resources, making them more professional, appealing and accessible.

The answer: WiseTiger carried out a comprehensive review of all Sands online and offline branding and developed a new look and feel for the charity. The Sands logo has been significantly updated, branding guidelines developed and a new design style created for all Sands literature including stationery, bereavement support leaflets, advertising, fundraising material, promotional items and newsletters. WiseTiger has also developed the Sands website which includes support for bereaved families, support and research information, news, fundraising information and an online shop.

The results: WiseTiger has continued to support Sands since the launch of its new brand in August 2006. The branding has made a significant contribution towards the charity’s communication around its key objectives of support, improvements in care and research.
