Stranger & Stranger

Showcasing the world’s finest drink brands

Website and digital marketing for multi award-winning design agency

Designed and built for social sharing and word-of-mouth marketing

Meticulously designed website drives high-quality enquiries

Stranger & Stranger is a world-class, multi award-winning agency behind some of the best-known brands in the drinks sector. Browse around their website and you’ll recognise plenty of familiar names. You’ll also discover new brands and labels that’ll take your breath away...

Everything that Stranger create is beautiful and sexy and strategic too. So when they asked us to deliver their website – their shop-window to the outside world – we knew what standards would be required.

And their brief? “We want the best website in our sector”.

The site might look straightforward but there’s a vast amount of planning, craft and love that’s gone into it.

We worked closely with the team at Stranger on tone-of-voice and visual language to create a website that not only looks outstanding, but also delivers results through social-sharing and enquiries. UX was really important. There are around 120 case studies on the site but only 30 of them are featured. Beyond the featured case studies, visitors to the site are guided to other related content via on-page links. So for example, someone visiting the featured gin case study would find more links to other gin case studies; to avoid them browsing randomly from gin to beer to wine.

Showcasing the amazing work was of course the top priority. Full-screen, pin-sharp images, simple typography and an understated yet slightly quirky design were all that was needed. And with good reason too. Stranger & Stranger have a huge fanbase and their work is shared extensively on social channels. To make the most of the social sharing, the website CMS allows Twitter and Open Graph Cards to be managed on a page-by-page basis – which means Stranger are in control of how their content is displayed on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

Behind the stunning design is a well-indexed website, meticulously planned and delivered with search engines in mind. There’s also some clever data capture and email marketing to improve longterm engagement and conversion.

Looking good and delivering results. Nice.
