Chaophraya is series of individual Thai restaurants, all with very different stories to tell. The style is modern and contemporary, the buildings and venues all have a story to tell in their own right, ranging from stunning rooftop locations to buildings of historic importance. 

The experience is authentic, relaxing and calm. The restaurants and bars bring together classic Thai and distinctive signature dishes, accompanied by a fantastic range of cocktails, wines and beers.

Chaophraya engaged with Wisetiger for help with a range of digital marketing objectives. In the first place they wanted a responsive website that created the right impression of their wonderful restaurants, service and food. The site needed to provide an enticing customer experience, be well indexed by search engines and drive table bookings and enquiries.

The restaurants also offer cooking experiences and cocktail classes, private dining for functions – and corporate bookings for business. Driving enquiries for these as well as seasonal and Christmas bookings was an integral part of the brief. Data capture was essential, with opportunities to collect information at various touchpoints ranging from wifi logins, table bookings, feedback forms and website enquiries.


Sitting alongside a new brand, the website's styling compliments the excitement of Chaophraya's different restaurant venues – bringing together authentic imagery and food from Thailand, with the very best of British contemporary dining.

To improve engagement and conversion, the website journey quickly takes visitors quickly to their preferred venue where the experience includes stunning photos, information about food and drink, private dining and experiences including cocktail masterclasses and Chaophraya's Thai cooking school.

Wisetiger have seamlessly integrated the website with Resdiary's table booking API. The integration improves the user experience on the website, allowing diners to make reservations quickly and smoothly – whilst at the same improving the quality of the information gathered by the restaurants during the booking process.

The website is well indexed by search engines, generating interest for Thai dining as well as corporate and business users, private dining and seasonal bookings. Contact enquiries are captured into Wisetiger's Giraffemail™ email marketing platform, which allows Chaophraya to easily send relevant and targeted follow-up emails to their growing contact list. This includes automated marketing techniques to improve efficiency and engagement, and insights to improve their email marketing and to understand more about their contacts.
