Integrated Marketing from Wisetiger to Drive Events Programme for PointBeyond

Specialist Microsoft SharePoint consultancy hires event marketing team to drive lead generation

Farnham, Surrey – 9th July 2010 - Wisetiger has been appointed to drive attendance and lead generation at key events, seminars and webinars for specialist Microsoft SharePoint consultancy, PointBeyond. The integrated campaigns that will include email marketing, PR, telemarketing, design and content creation are designed to drive attendance to three key events during 2010; the Gartner Portals, Content & Collaboration Summit 2010 in London, 15-16 September and two Microsoft Project Server events in September and October 2010. The campaigns will form the backbone of an ongoing lead generation and customer reference programme across the financial services, local government, construction, manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Ian Woodgate, Managing Director at PointBeyond explains, “The features and functionality of SharePoint are extremely broad, and our credentials at delivering successful and highly cost-effective projects within our ‘StraightForward’ framework for organisations such as Coventry Building Society, the British Sandwich Association and NetMonkeys is something we want to leverage.”

Andrew Shaw, Managing Director at Wisetiger adds, “Issues such as enterprise search and collaboration are accelerating up the CIO agenda; a trend that is reflected in our own client base.  SharePoint often forms the backbone of the enterprise information solution, and organisations large and small are hungry for information about mitigating the risk of SharePoint projects," he continues. "We'll be addressing that for PointBeyond by driving attendance to its seminars and webinars; something we already do regularly for many EMC and VMware events."

The StraightForward framework from PointBeyond is designed to mitigate the risk of SharePoint projects by ensuring a clear focus on the business need, defining a project strategy, following a six-point delivery framework and identifying key iterative features or wins; while following a Prince 2 based methodology. For more information on StraightForward and PointBeyond please visit www.pointbeyond.com.
