Wisetiger Strengthens Content Services and PR with Sutton Appointment

Specialist web design and marketing agency broadens its search engine optimisation (SEO) toolkit and powers seamless social media programmes with new content creation and PR team

Farnham, Surrey – 29th March 2010 – Marketing agency Wisetiger has expanded its online and offline offering with the appointment of public relations and copywriting specialist Natalie Sutton as Head of Content Services and PR. She has more than 17 years experience running PR campaigns for clients in the B2B, consumer and technology sectors, and joins having run her own consultancy for seven years, Proud PR. Prior to that, Natalie was a director at Reading-based agency, Motive PR.

The appointment marks a milestone in Wisetiger’s growth strategy. The Agency’s Managing Director, Andy Shaw explains, “We’ve always delivered great results for clients by having both design and web development capability under one roof. We ensure the seamless integration of the creative as well as the technical considerations of web projects. With the expanding number of communication channels between our clients and their target audiences, we acknowledge a growing need to help clients get a better handle on their content and how they communicate it. Content services and PR enable us to add further value to our clients’ projects and bridges the gap between our design and production capabilities as well as our ‘SEO and social media’ offering.”

“Natalie’s appointment extends the sentiment of our important proposition to include PR, the messaging and content that PR programmes create, as well as social media outreach, continues Shaw. “She really understands the impact that PR can have on sales, and the role it can play in web content, SEO and enquiry generation.”

Natalie adds, “In any sales process, at least 80 per cent of prospects will turn to a search engine or web site for information and to validate or influence their buying decision. While many organisations already understand the importance of web design and architecture to optimise that experience in terms of usability and SEO, some are still struggling with basic content generation and making wider communications strategies more cohesive. Strategic messaging should be at the heart of all marketing communications, and the resulting content consistently repurposed across all media; from blogs and social networking sites to the web, press and Twitter etc.”

According to Wisetiger, successful SEO is not only influenced by web design and build, key words and Adwords but by the frequency and recency of outbound communications which is usually driven by PR and social media outreach. The Company’s new PR and content offering is designed to support time-poor executives with the professional creation of news, opinion, thought leadership, email marketing propositions and web and social media content as well as high value assets such as customer testimonials and case studies, white papers, newsletters, research and ‘how-to’ guides. It will also continue to provide media and analyst relations.

Natalie now heads up several Wisetiger PR accounts including Alpha Corporation, mvision and Triometric. She is also focused on team development and new business. During her career in PR, Natalie has also worked in house at The Automobile Association and AA Roadwatch as well as with consumer clients such as Comet, KrisisKit, Miele, Premiair Aviation and Voiceskins.
