Wisetiger’s Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 7 October 2025

Here at Wisetiger, we’re all about building brilliant, long-term relationships. That starts with being open, honest and respectful – and that absolutely applies to how we handle your personal information.

This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do to keep it safe and sound. We’ve tried to keep it simple and jargon-free, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

1. Who we are

We are Wisetiger, 3WBS Limited trading as Wisetiger (‘Wisetiger’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company Number:
    04360497
  • Registered Office:
    The Deskhub, St Johns Church
    Fleet Road, Hartley Wintney
    England RG27 8ED

From here on, we’re just called Wisetiger.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), Wisetiger is the ‘data controller’. This means we are responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is used.

2. The data we collect

We only collect information that’s necessary to run our business, provide you with our services, or improve our website experience.

When you get in touch: If you fill out our contact form, email us, or give us a call, we’ll collect information like your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry. We use this to get back to you and, hopefully, start a brilliant project together! (Lawful basis: Legitimate interest).

When you sign up for our email: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we’ll collect your name and email address to send you marketing tips, agency news, and strategic insights. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in our emails. (Lawful basis: Consent).

When you browse our website: Like most websites, we use cookies and analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. This might include your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visit. This data is often anonymised and helps us make our website better, more intuitive, and more useful for you. (Lawful basis: Legitimate interest / Consent for non-essential cookies).

3. How we use your information

We’re strategists, not spammers. Your data is used for clear, specific purposes:

  • To respond to your questions and project enquiries.
  • To deliver the digital marketing services we've agreed upon.
  • To manage our client relationships and send invoices.
  • To send you marketing communications that you have opted-in to receive.
  • To analyse and improve the performance and user experience of our website.

4. Sharing your data

We will never, ever sell your personal data. That’s a promise.

We may share your information with a few trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business – think of them as our expert partners. This includes:

  • Website hosting providers.
  • Email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Our accounting software.

We have contracts in place with these partners to ensure they look after your data as carefully as we do and comply with UK data protection laws.

5. Keeping your data safe and sound

We treat your data like our most valuable creative idea. We take appropriate technical and organisational steps to protect it from being lost, misused, or accessed without authorisation. Our website uses SSL encryption (you’ll see the little padlock in your browser) to protect any data you send to us.

We only keep your data for as long as is necessary for the reason it was collected. For example, we’ll keep project information for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal and accounting obligations.

6. Your data, your rights

You have a lot of control over your personal information. Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Correct any information you think is inaccurate.
  • Erasure: Ask us to delete your personal data (the ‘right to be forgotten’).
  • Restrict Processing: Ask us to limit how we’re using your data.
  • Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object: Object to us using your data, particularly for marketing purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

We use them to help analyse web traffic and improve our website. For more detailed information on the cookies we use and why, please see our full Cookie Policy page.

8. Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that we’re not responsible for the privacy practices of those other sites. When you leave our site, we encourage you to read the privacy statements of every website that collects your data.

9. How to get in touch (or make a complaint)

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please get in touch.

If you feel we haven’t handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which is the UK’s supervisory authority for data protection issues. You can find their details at www.ico.org.uk.
